CrossingLab is a flexible unit linking research and learning through an innovative vision on contemporary architectural and urban planning practice at large.

Founded 2008 by Giacomo “Piraz” Pirazzoli (PhD) at the School of Architecture, University of Florence, it started working both on cultural heritage/museums and landscape/environment, always to be considered within a human framework according to Florence's and Tuscany's outstanding tradition.

After iCad_International Curriculum on Architectural Design (a Master Degree Course at the School of Architecture, University of Florence) opened, 2011, the incubator Crossing Research On Site Specific, INnovation, Globalization Laboratory increased its think-tank role on culture-crossing.

Today a national and international partnerships network allows wide range practicing activities for students and scholars.
